It’s Easter time. As usual, in Italy during the holidays there are many traditions to respect. Especially if we talk about food. The Easter breakfast is one of these famous Roman traditions.
Even if it’s morning, you can find many dishes on the table. It’s the right time for the kids to open their chocolate eggs and discover what’s the surprise.
Once at the table, you will find boiled eggs and frittata with artichokes. There will be Corallina, a salami from Lazio accompanied by Torta Pasqualina, a cheese bread made with Pecorino romano. Sometimes you can also find Coratella (pluck) with artichokes.
You can drink tea, coffee and even Vinsanto during the breakfast, but remember in a few hours it will be time for the Easter Sunday Lunch!
Enjoy your Roman breakfast and have a Happy Easter!
