This blog is supposed to talk about Rome and the world. But today I want to join women and men in the whole world in celebrating the International Women’s Day.
I’m not going to talk about women’s right, but I just want to share with you the book that I chose as a present for my baby daughter in this day.
Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls is a collection of 100 tales of extraordinary women. From Frida Khalo to Serena and Vanessa Williams, Elizabeth I, Ada Lovelace, Malala, Florence Nightingale, Michelle Obama, the book is a collection of real tales.
There are not princesses that need to be rescued, but brave women that with their fantastic life are an inspiration for all the girls in the world.
And this is my wish for my little daughter and for all the girls in the world: be free to choose the path in your life, fight for it, make your life a wonderful adventure.
Happy International Women’s Day!
